Five Actors Who Need To Join The Mcu But Haven T Yet
.jpg)
Okay, let's talk about superheroes. We all love the MCU, right? It's a giant, sparkly universe filled with capes and quips. But sometimes, just sometimes, you watch a movie and think, "You know who would be PERFECT for this?"
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a knack for casting. They find folks who just become the character. Think about it: Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. Chris Pratt as Star-Lord. It's like they were born for it.
But there are still some incredible actors out there. Some people we've seen shine in all sorts of roles. People who haven't yet graced the halls of Stark Tower or tangled with Thanos. This is my personal, slightly biased, wishlist.
Must Read
Consider this a friendly suggestion. A little nudge to the casting directors. Because, honestly, some of these actors would absolutely kill it. We're talking about people who could bring a whole new level of awesome to the already super-awesome MCU.
So, grab your popcorn. Get ready to nod along and maybe even disagree. Here are five actors I think the MCU is seriously missing out on. It’s time to make it happen!
The MCU Missing List
1. John Hamm: The Smooth Operator
Imagine John Hamm in the MCU. Just picture it. He's got that classic Hollywood charm. He can play suave, he can play intense, and he can definitely play heroic. He’s got the gravitas.
He’s like a perfectly aged whiskey. Smooth, sophisticated, and undeniably potent. He could be a cosmic entity. He could be a super-spy with a complicated past. He could be anything!
Think about his role as Don Draper. He commanded every scene. Now, imagine him with a laser gun or a mystical artifact. It’s a match made in fanboy heaven, if you ask me.

He’d bring a certain je ne sais quoi to the universe. A throwback coolness that the MCU could totally use. And his voice? Perfect for booming pronouncements.
I’m picturing him as a member of the Nova Corps. Or maybe even a reformed villain who’s trying to go straight. The possibilities are endless and frankly, exciting.
2. Florence Pugh: The Firecracker
We've seen Florence Pugh do incredible things. She’s a powerhouse. She’s got this raw energy that is absolutely captivating. She can be vulnerable, she can be fierce, and she can be hilarious.
She’s already dipped her toes in the blockbuster waters, but the MCU? That’s a whole other level. She’d chew up the scenery in the best possible way. I can already see her in a wrestling match with the Hulk.
She’d be amazing as a new hero with a chip on her shoulder. Or maybe a rogue agent causing trouble for SHIELD. Her intensity is a gift. The MCU needs more of that kind of unbridled talent.
She has a way of making you care about her characters instantly. You root for her, even when she's being a bit of a menace. That’s the mark of a true star.

Imagine her interacting with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The banter would be legendary. Or maybe a solo adventure where she has to save the day on her own terms.
3. Oscar Isaac: The Chameleon
Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking. He's already in Star Wars! But hear me out. Oscar Isaac is just that good. He disappears into his roles. He’s a master of transformation.
He’s shown us he can do sci-fi. He’s shown us he can do drama. He’s shown us he can do intensity. The MCU would be lucky to have him. He’d bring a depth that’s truly special.
He could play a morally ambiguous character. Someone who walks the line between hero and villain. Or perhaps a wise, ancient being from another dimension. His range is frankly astounding.
I can see him as a new sorcerer. Or maybe a leader of a forgotten alien race. The possibilities are as vast as the cosmos itself. He’d just own any role he was given.

He has this magnetic presence. When he’s on screen, you can’t look away. That’s exactly what the MCU thrives on. Give this man a cape, Marvel!
4. Anya Taylor-Joy: The Ethereal Enigma
There’s something about Anya Taylor-Joy. She has this otherworldly quality. She looks like she stepped out of a fairy tale. Or maybe a cosmic dream. She’s captivating.
She’s proven she can handle supernatural elements. She’s done horror. She’s done period pieces. She’s got a unique energy that would be a breath of fresh air in the MCU.
She’d be perfect as a mystic. Or a creature from another dimension. Or even a misunderstood alien with a hidden power. Her presence is delicate yet powerful.
Think of her in a visually stunning film. Something like Doctor Strange, but with her own spin. She could bring a unique kind of magic to the screen.
Her expressive eyes can tell a whole story. She doesn’t need a lot of dialogue to make an impact. She just is. And that’s a rare quality.

5. Dev Patel: The Heartthrob with Grit
Last but certainly not least, Dev Patel. He’s charming. He’s talented. He’s got that perfect blend of boyish enthusiasm and mature resolve.
He can do action. He can do drama. He can make you laugh. He’s got a warmth about him that makes you want to see him succeed. The MCU needs that.
He could be a younger, more relatable version of an established hero. Or maybe a brand new character who’s just discovering their powers. He’d be incredibly engaging.
Imagine him on a mission with the Avengers. Or perhaps leading his own team of newer heroes. He has the charisma to carry a film.
He brings a sincerity to his roles that’s hard to replicate. You believe him. You feel for him. And that’s a superhero quality right there.
So there you have it. My totally unofficial, entirely opinionated list. These actors would just be chef’s kiss in the MCU. Marvel, if you’re reading this, you know what to do!
