Could Vigo The Carpathian Return In Another Ghostbusters

Could Vigo The Carpathian Return In Another Ghostbusters

Remember Vigo the Carpathian? That creepy guy from the painting? He was, like, a super evil sorcerer. And also a baby in a jar. Yep, that happened.

The first Ghostbusters movie was a classic. We all loved Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston. They busted ghosts with proton packs and traps. It was pure magic.

Then came Ghostbusters II. This is where Vigo really made his mark. He was trying to take over the world. Through a painting, no less!

It was a bit of a wild ride. A painting that comes to life? Totally normal, right? Vigo wanted to be reborn. He wanted to be a baby again. To rule us all.

The Ghostbusters had to stop him. They used slime. Lots and lots of pink slime. It was a slimy showdown.

So, the big question is: could Vigo ever come back? Could we see him again in another Ghostbusters flick? It seems unlikely, but hey, anything is possible!

After all, this is the Ghostbusters universe. They deal with, you know, ghosts. And other spooky stuff.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife brought back some old faces. And introduced some new ones. It was a nice trip down memory lane. For some of us, anyway.

But Vigo was nowhere to be seen. He was probably chilling. Back in his spooky painting dimension. Or maybe just retired. Who can blame him?

Still, imagine the possibilities. A new Ghostbusters team. Facing off against a re-energized Vigo. It could be epic.

He was a pretty compelling villain. Scary, but also kind of absurd. That's the Ghostbusters charm, isn't it?

Think about it. Vigo's powers were immense. He could possess people. He could control things from afar. Even a painting. That’s some serious ghost power.

And he was so dramatic. "Death is but a doorway." Very theatrical. He would have loved a good monologue.

Maybe he could team up with some other ancient evil. Or maybe he'd be after a new kind of vessel. Not just a baby this time.

Perhaps he'd target a smartphone. Imagine Vigo controlling social media. That’s a scary thought. Truly terrifying.

Or what if he tried to possess a giant robot? That would be a spectacular fight scene. Lots of lasers and slime.

The new movies have introduced different kinds of paranormal activity. More nuanced. More existential, even.

But Vigo was pure, unadulterated evil. A classic villain. A memorable one.

He was also, let's be honest, a little bit silly. That's what made him so great.

The Ghostbusters themselves are a mix of science and silliness. Vigo fit right in. He was the dark, brooding counterpoint.

His return would certainly shake things up. It would bring back a familiar threat. For those who remember him.

Some fans might groan. "Not Vigo again!" they might say. But others would cheer. "Yes! Bring back the painting guy!"

It’s a bit of an unpopular opinion, maybe. To want Vigo back. But I think he deserves another shot.

He was more than just a painting. He was a spirit. A powerful, ancient spirit.

And in the Ghostbusters world, spirits can certainly be re-manifested. Or re-animated. Or re-anything-ed.

Maybe he could be a recurring villain. Like a spooky arch-nemesis. Every few movies.

He’d need a new plan, of course. His baby-in-a-jar shtick might be a bit dated. Though, honestly, it was pretty unique.

Perhaps he could find a different way to gain a physical form. Maybe he could inhabit a statue. Or a giant disco ball.

The possibilities are endless. And a little bit ridiculous. Which is perfect for Ghostbusters.

Think of the visual gags. Vigo trying to operate modern technology. It would be hilarious.

Or maybe he'd be super into TikTok. His ancient evil pronouncements going viral.

The original Ghostbusters are getting older. The new generation is taking over. But Vigo is timeless. In his own evil way.

He could be a threat that spans across generations. A villain for the ages. And the babies.

Imagine him saying, "I am Vigo. I am your doom. And I am also here to promote my new crypto scam."

Okay, maybe that's a bit too much. But you get the idea.

Vigo's motivations were simple: power. And being a baby. Simple, yet effective.

He was a force of nature. A supernatural force of nature.

And the Ghostbusters are all about battling supernatural forces.

So, it makes perfect sense. Logically. In a Ghostbusters kind of way.

They’ve battled gods. They’ve battled ghosts. Why not battle Vigo again?

It would be a nice nod to the past. A connection to the original story. For the fans.

And for the new fans. Who might not know Vigo. They need to be introduced. To his particular brand of evil.

It’s not about rehashing the old movies. It’s about building on what made them great.

Vigo was a key part of that. He was the ultimate antagonist.

He was a physical threat. But also a spiritual one. A two-for-one deal.

And that slime in Ghostbusters II? That was Vigo’s essence. His emotional baggage.

So, if they can harness slime, they can probably harness Vigo. Or at least fight him again.

It just feels right. Doesn't it? A part of me wants to see him again.

Maybe he'd be less angry this time. More understanding. Or just more evil.

He was a painter. So, he probably had some artistic flair. For his evil schemes.

Perhaps his return would involve some sort of art installation. Gone terribly wrong.

Or a haunted museum. Full of creepy portraits.

Whatever it is, I'm here for it. I’m rooting for Vigo. To make a comeback.

It’s a bold prediction. A slightly crazy one. But I believe it could happen.

The Ghostbusters franchise is all about surprises. And Vigo was a surprise. A very scary, very bald surprise.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed. And our proton packs charged. Just in case.

Vigo the Carpathian. The painting. The baby. The ultimate evil. Could he return? I say yes!

And I think it would be a lot of fun. A lot of spooky, slimy, fun.

Who’s with me?

Let’s bring back Vigo. For old times’ sake. And for new scares.
